The digital edition of Ben van Daal’s Prelude in B-Flat Major Op. 1 No. 21 from 24 Preludes Op. 1 for piano solo. Inspired by a.o. Bach, Chopin and Scriabin, this set of miniatures was composed as an exploration and character sketch of the 24 major and minor keys. The characteristics of the piano are the starting point for these compositions, which often originate from improvisation.
